Our latest Team Spotlight features Alison, who joined us recently as care staff here in the Colne Valley.
Here are Alison’s thoughts about joining Co-operative Care Colne Valley, in her own words:
“I am brand new to the care sector but felt, following Covid that I wanted to give something back to the community where I was brought up my whole life. I have often been told I am wasted in an office job and I would make an amazing care assistant as I have always had a passion for caring for family, neighbours and friends alike.
I started to do some research and came across Co-operative Care Colne Valley, a brand new care company and upon reading their website, felt that I wanted to work for this organisation. That’s because it puts the client and the client’s needs first, whilst also providing help, full training and support for their staff – 24/7. The company have a passion to make a difference in the Colne Valley.
I started work in June and haven’t looked back! I absolutely love it. It’s so rewarding it doesn’t actually feel like a job. I have already learnt so much in the short space of time I have worked here through the training I have been given.
I love every minute and cannot wait for what the future holds for me at Co-Operative Care Colne Valley and I am proud and privileged to be a part of the team.”
