Exploring different models of care delivery
We believe that great care is possible.
And we know that there are organisations out there who are already doing inspirational and tranformational work to support those who need care, offer good terms to staff and look beyond needs closer to aspirations and wishes. While we are setting up a care co-op in the Colne Valley we are learning about what works and what does not and we are also considering what other models of offering support in communities are out there.
Our second webinar will explore different models of care delivery with speakers from three different organisations which have been on different journeys and used different models to provide care.
Our panel will be chaired by our very own Sue Richards, one of the Co-operative Care Colne Valley Directors and our Nominated Individual.
And to share their wisdom and experience, our panelists are
- Sian Lockwood from Community Catalyst
- John Roberts from North West Care Co-operative
- Adrian Roper from Cartrefi
Together, we will explore different types and models of organisations which can be delivering good care and
- look at how have the different organisational set ups come about with different pros & cons
- celebrate wins, progress & 'collateral gains'
- consider the biggest barriers along the way
- discuss & share other learning
It would be great if you can join us on Thursday 25th February 6.30 - 7.45, 1hour 15 minutes; we'll start at 6.30pm (the session will open at 6.15pm so that we can start on time).
We'll run the webinar on Zoom. Click on the 'Register' button to book your digital seat.
Looking forward to seeing many of you there!

This webinar is delivered as part of our Sharing Care project which is generously supported by Power to Change to allow us to bring together learning we have gained while setting up a care co-op, share it with others and support those who might be interested in setting up a care co-op in their own communities.
We’re ready to offer care & support in Colne Valley - help us spread the word! Have a look at our website.
And make sure you have a browse through our Sharing Care project website with a toolkit which looks at how to set up a care co-op & lists other things we are doing during the first half of 2021.
